Internship Opportunity

The gallery is seeking an Intern to work closely with the Gallery Directors. This is the perfect position for someone looking to gain an insight into the workings of an artist-led space.

The successful candidate should have an interest in contemporary art. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have excellent spoken and written English. Desirably the candidate would be confident with using InDesign, and have experience managing databases.

Tasks will include assisting with the installation of exhibitions, management of contact list, updating social networking sites, collating information for programmes, fundraising and assisting with general marketing tasks.

We are looking for someone to work with us 1 day a week (either Monday or Friday) and additional days during and prior to exhibitions for a 4 month period. The internship is unpaid, but travel expenses will be covered and lunch will be provided.
